2. Give yourself plenty of time
Wedding gowns can take at least 6 months (or even longer) to arrive once ordered, so don’t leave dress shopping too late! You may also need to allocate time for alterations on your gown.

3. Short on time or working with a budget?
Many boutiques sell sample gowns straight off the rail. This can be a great option if you’re on a tighter schedule or want to save a little money.

4. Do your homework
Research boutiques before visiting — look for well-established stores with great reviews and a solid reputation. It’ll make the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable.

10. Trust your gut
You’ll know when you’ve found the dress. There might not be tears (and that’s totally fine!), but if it makes you feel amazing and you don’t want to take it off — that’s your sign.
